“ This is a fun spot to bring a large group of people for dinner! I had a few colleagues visiting town and wanted to show them all of the Nashville vibes without having to go downtown. Butchertown Hall definitely delivered - the interior is rustic and charming, and you're hit with the smell of smoking wood as you enter. I made a reservation about a week in advance, nd even though it was a weeknight, the restaurant was still quite busy. Our server balanced the hustle and bustle well - and even had a few great recommendations for us while ordering. While the food is tasty, I think the standout here are the cocktails. I enjoyed both the "Fuego Y Azfure" and the Mezcal Margarita, both of which were expertly mixed and perfectly sippable. Even if you're not a margarita person, there's something on their menu to enjoy. Everyone in our group found a cocktail that suited their tastes. We opted to do our dinner family-style, ordering a few appetizers, a collection of meats, and a couple of sides. If you like oysters, I highly recommend the wood-fired oyster appetizer. These are somewhere in-between raw and Rockefeller - they're cooked through and full of smokey, fresh flavors. Of the meats that we tried, I enjoyed the wood-fried NY Strip the most. It's served with some crispy fries and a side salad - and is plenty of food to share. Smoked turkey is one of my personal favorites, so I had high hopes for theirs ... but they ultimately fell a bit short. However, the roasted shaved street corn and the Brussels sprouts were exceptional - and we wrapped up our meal with an order of their warm, cream-filled churros. ”

“ Imagine if a hipster lumberjack opened a restaurant after watching too many Food Network shows - that's Butchertown Hall for you. The place screams "I have a beard and know things about wood." Industrial-chic meets Texas smokehouse, with enough exposed brick to make an architect blush. The lighting is so perfectly dim that everyone looks like they could be in a Nashville country music video. The meat is smoked longer than most relationships last in Nashville. Their brisket is so tender it falls apart if you look at it wrong. The portions are Tennessee-generous, meaning you'll need to be rolled out like a barrell down Broadway. Pro tip: Skip the skinny jeans and wear your eatin' pants - this isn't the place for fashion over function. Also, if you hear someone say "I'll just have a salad," kindly escort them to the juice bar down the street where they belong. ”

“ The food here is soooo delicious - it was hard to choose what to get because it all sounded so good, too. Options are also great for gluten free folk (their sauces are gluten free)! Ambiance is cute, stylish, clean (check out the photos of the outside and inside). The service was good - occasionally slow but I attribute that to how busy the restaurant was. If I lived in the area I would absolutely visit for good bbq and sides! ”

“ Great place for brunch for sure. Service was very good. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. They have a big inside seating area and they also have a big patio for the summer. They also have heaters they use on the winter. The drink menu has good selection and the cocktails I had were very delicious. The food was really good. I had the huevos rancheros. Overall it's a good place but a little on the pricey side but not bad. ”
